Song birds

Song birds in cages
Fly into rages
When the cat awakes from its nap
Then they yell and they scream
Tell their captors they're mean
And eat, go neurotic, and crap

Interesting work..Got a chuckle..A cat and a bird in the same house is like a cat and a fish tank with fish therein..I have noticed your work today and thank you for reading mine..Sara

Oh, Jon, now I feel guilty for keeping my beautiful canaries in aviaries, But they do get the best of food, and they sing so beautifully. Enjoyed your poem, my friend...peter

Thank you. I'm sure your birds love it there. You don't have any cats do you?

Yes indeed, you might can get used to, and accept that prison you are in, but will never be able to accept stale seeds. THAT is unforgivable!
