self destruction

Don’t try to save me I don’t need that
That’s what’s going to make me crazy and relapse
Maybe I just need that
Fell in love with my nightmares, wake me and I’ll be mad
Erase me and I’ll be glad
But don’t then text saying “I miss you baby & what we had”
Dealing with my emotions
I’m healing and still growing
As I write my feelings in a poem
**** therapy, questions you’re uneasy to answer but they feel fine to ask
Talk behind your back
Then they wonder why you hide behind a mask
Tell you to move on and focus on the future
Yet it’s the therapist who rewinds your past
Don’t worry this time will pass
Its life things don’t go the way you wish
Or the way they should
Through the bad you need to take some good
That’s just how life works
Insomnia making my nights worse
Yeah I know it might hurt
But I just reply I’ve survived worse
**** what you hear, believe what you see
From mistakes make sure you learn
Advice I won’t listen. I’ll always do things on my terms
I care but in act like it don’t matter
In pain but I show laughter
When I’m about to crash or hit the wall I go faster
Please don’t help me up
Because sometimes I need to self destruct
My inner demons are beginning to get comfortable
When I act like everything is wonderful
Is that strong or fake?
Is that wrong or brave?
Smile I’m trying to keep it up
While you try to keep up with the Kardashians
So much emotion so my heart match my pen
Future’s not promised and you can’t change the past
You can give your opinions and views but can’t change the facts
Sometimes it takes a while to see what is and isn’t a worthy fight
You may hurt me once. I guarantee you won’t hurt me twice
You will never take my pride like it’s a piece of merchandise
You’re mad I found hope from the dirt?
You can suck my pen swallow my ink and choke on my words
