The Unseen

While the gods and their angels sing brazen war songs
on unstrung harps and human skin toms.
Their is a beast descending from the hills,
he hunts the reckless and can smell the landfills.
The scent carries him to the cities at night,
where he can feast to his hunger's delight.

    Lovely indeed. Your choice of words is grerat but over soooo soon. I was loving the painting. Welcome to PoetrySoup
