Great poem Gail...Memories can be good or bad, and I hate the bad ones. They are merely shadows that no longer have ant reality, in my view...Thanks for the read, my friend....peter

So true. My sister tells me that my long time memory is great that it's my short term memory that she worries about. When she asks me a short term memory question I should replay. "Ask me this same question in a week or two. I'll have the answer for you then." I enjoyed your poem. Thanks for sharing.

At times I wonder when I'll ever get a lost memory...only a slight glimmer of it will be present in my mind, but I desire to get the whole memory! But this poem brings me hope of finding this memory someday! I surely enjoyed reading this tremendous poem here this morning! What a fabulous piece my friend, Great Work!!
