Interference

Whether in a baseball game
Or in the span of life,
Interference often causes
Agita* or strife.

Even when one’s motives
May be innocent or pure,
A casual observer
Or an ump might not be sure.

So consequences will result
When someone interferes,
And sometimes the effects may last
For months or even years.

*indigestion; aggravation

Just get your nose out of my face and stay out of my business. My equalibrium is a slight askew. And you just cause me dizzyness. Peace. :)

Your leitmotif is unique, simple and delicious! Coming across your poetry is true serendipity. I promise to read more and more- hope I'm not interfering(JOKE). JM

Great words Ilene. once someone told me that I couldn't write for shit. This interference effected me for three years, and I stopped writing. Folk like you have showed me that he was wrong. Thanks for this very meaningful read....peter
