Blame It On The Moon

I found her in the starlight Just gazing at the moon And knew that very instant Our souls were so in tune. It was just a brief encounter There, standing side by side Many things were found In which we could confide. We each cast such an aura – Two mysteries were we. We did not have to say a word – We both knew, instantly. Lonely hearts came together On that starry, Summer night - Could it really be so wrong When it felt so very right? So, blame it on the moon - It all seems such a shame – I’m now in love with someone – And don’t even know her name. Written By John Posey 10/27/13
