Jon Such a cute and charming write. I love animals and enjoy reading your poems about them. Let the seal go play with his friends and have fun. LOL Hugs Thanks for the great comment on my Mystery Man poem

This is a lovely little ditty and most enjoyable. Rhyme and everything are just right. I just wrote a simple one about the owl in our backyard. Mark

yes, I think he would rather be free. I wonder just how much they hate living confined. Maybe it does not bother them that much?? I could see you doing a whole cool book just using animal poems you have created!!

so true, jon! as much as i love watching seals frolic in the zoo, i always feel sorry for them, not being out in their natural environment (same for orcas and every other animal in captivity). you've expressed this quite beautifully here...

Yes, I am sure that it would be happier having friends and family but it might live longer in captivity..I wonder?...Which is better to live longer slightly unhappy or less happy or to live a short life happy?..Enjoyed reading your creative thought provoking work..Thanks for the visit to my page..Sara

I think my pets would rather live the good life with me. They have no interest in going outside. Odd for cats. But then I think we humans would rather live an uncertain fate than live in captivity. Thank you for your visit.
