Home-coming Pigeons

Home-coming Pigeons

Most treasured part, from the rest,
Is the inside of a Pigeon’s breast:
                    *
Pigeons are a swift and furthest flier
Yet, back Home they always retire;

Unlike lovesick men; a headless nail
Who sink both their head and tail!
                    *
Pigeons’ wingspan is incredibly long...
Pray! Toil must make hands strong.
                    *
Pigeons’ tact, manoeuvre and poise...
Evade the Devil with Hymn’s noise!
                    *
Power of sight in the Pigeons’ eye...
Lucifer’s lure we must quickly decry!
                    *
Pigeon’s nest in obelisk of Church...
Holy shelter Pigeon chicks to hatch!
                    *
Pigeons’ Partners are the happy most,
In age or in ailment love’s not lost!!
                    *
Most treasured part, from the rest.
Is the inside of a Pigeon’s breast!!

A hymn to pigeon well-deserved and marvelously expressed! A true incense on the altar of our flying friends! Excellent my friend! Thank you!

This is a rude comparison between conscience of man and pigeon. Pigeons fly far but never get lost. They always come home. Their LOVE is genuine- they actually fall in love with their very patner. They roost in many areas but mostly in Churches!!! etc I have my life's lessons from creation. Thanks Miss Wattle. Friend, JM

Archaic. Thanks for visiting. Pigeons are friendly birds which feed from a stranger's palm in the street without qualms. Those that rear them for food praise the breast as succulent. I've rather drawn a divergent picture to that effect; "the most treasured part is the inside of a pigeon's breast!" Thanks Friend. JM
