    There is something about you Aussie guys that is very charming! Miss Wattle is another and although she's lived here in Canada for a long while, she still maintains that special Aussie something! Good one, Thomas!!!

    I love this Thomas; Sometimes it's not easy to leave your Home Land, but your home is where where you live best and where you have roots. Thanks for sharing..... Lucilla

    Thomas I'm sorry you miss home but I'm glad you've made a new one. This was a strong piece and I enjoyed it immensely. Some may find it strange but I long for my Hawaiian roots though I've never been. I've had the privilege of getting to know my other half but not that one. Thank you for sharing.

    Yes, it's one of my fav Aussie classics and brings tears to my eyes whenever I play it lol - usually on Australia Day :)

    I was born in the United States, and it will always feel like home to me. My great grandparents migrated here from Germany and Norway. I could not imagine how difficult that must have been for them. To leave home, for a new one would be impossible for me! An excellent piece of poetry!
