I SEE IT IN HIS EYES

I SEE IT IN HIS EYES I wonder if he loves me Or I'm just a passing passion. We move so well together, Am I in a holding pattern? I want to think the loving calls And long sighs in the night Are more than just a passing phase, Because to me they feel so right. I wonder if he loves me When he kisses me and sighs. Then as he wraps me in his warm embrace I see it in his eyes. c ELR 2013

Wasn't that a song title or at least words in a song? The eyes are very telling... it's very difficult to hide behind them! Another beautiful poem about love! Hugs and much love xoxoxox

Hello Jack :) I was thinking of someone special when I wrote this poem this morning, but now you mention it, I do recall song lyrics to the effect, "I see it in his face..." or something similar (a golden oldie) - I'm now off to google it! lol. Thank you for your comment - much appreciated! Hugz xox
