About This Poem

Angel in Your Eyes

To you who knew me in my youth, Who spread sweet joy and spoke with truth; Before you passed to heaven’s skies, I saw an angel in your eyes. To you, the stranger that I met, Who spoke no word of English, yet Gave aid to me, you are God’s prize. There was an angel in your eyes. To those of you within this place Whose gifts of words show love and grace, Though I’ve not faced you, I surmise. . . There is an angel in your eyes! Lovely poem! Even three rhymes in a row! The rest of the work shows your rhyming talent to advantage as well. Words of love and grace to boot! I much appreciate your words of edification.

Andrea: I took the time to read this poem to my wife who recently lost her brother, the last bearer of the family name, leaving her alone. She told me to tell you how special it was to her and how thoroughly she loves your poetry. So do I! Narkj

Just when we think someone's no good and kick them to the curb. They go and do something profound where you think they're suppurb. God's grace is there in every face. You only need to look. And mercy for our fellow man is what is in the book. :) Peace. :)
