Hi Jon, I loved this creepy poem on these so maligned creatures. We have our share of them down under, and they strike fear into the hearts of most. great words, so glad I found this one....peter

I like the poem, but not the spiders. They give me the creeps. I try to keep my home free of any insects, but sometimes they still get in. Thanks for sharing... Lucilla

I heard that we swallow a number of them each year in our sleep since they love "moist" areas.EEEEK Good one, Jon.

A great write, Jon! (slightly more tolerable imagery than huge, hairy, wide-eyed tarantulas lol). As I live in the country and these little critters lurk in every corner of the house, I lull myself into thinking if I leave them alone, they will return the favour - naive perhaps, but the only way to sleep :). Loved the poem.
