Tarantulas

Tarantulas are large and hairy
Not to mention very scary
Their eyes and size and shape alarm us
More than they would ever harm us
For tarantulas affrighted
Hide to avoid being sighted

I'd rather not see a tarantula either. They bug me out.

It could be true, my dear...but keep those hairy BEASTS away from me...I have arachnophobia...so this is a true terror! ;)

Note: spiders abhor mint. So an alternative to using pesticides is to spray mint extract around the areas that you want to be spider free.

very good!! Just yesterday, a BYU lady came to our little school and showed our young adults a turtle, snake and tarantula. I held one last year in the same show. But later I found out it CAN bite people and it would be like getting a bee sting!

Thank you andrea. BYU? not sure what that stands for. So you won't handle a tarantula any more. I don't blame you. But you did it once. That's more than many can say.
