It seems as if everyone has it worse than the next person. But in reality you must know that whatever problems you face in life makes you a stronger and wiser individual if you learn from them. :)

You are so right. Everything you say is true. There are always other people that are wrost than we are. Thanks for sharing this. I do believe that we should help those in need... Lucilla

Yes it is easy to look at the dark side of life. We only need look to our neighbor to see that perhaps we have it made and need to be thankful for the cards we have been dealt. Good write and right on thoughts. ~Kilmer

Life can be so overwhelming at times and it does help knowing that others have it worse so we can be grateful for what we do have....wise message Becca. Hugs

Wise thinking my dear Becca! God has thought of us before we even had a single thought in our mind and never would give anyone to carry a cross heavier than he could curry! See message!

This is a good message, still our problems are our frame of refference. They are real and we can't minimize their impact. Still within our struggles it is important to recognize our blessings and be aware of others. It appears you are in touch with your humanity. This is a well penned and sensitive piece.

This should be my prayer all the time, we just need to think about what we have in comparison to many people in the world, we have so much in the United States (If you are from the US), I need to be more thankful for what I is truly a lot! I'm not saying I don't have things that make my life rough, or where I think I should catch a break, but when I compare it to others that are far less fortunate, my needs are quite petty! You bring this to light with this awesome poem, Great Work!!

Much as I agree with your write here Becca, I see no reason why we should be suffering at the hands of our own inadequate system. As Poetic says, things could be worse, if they don't sort this out soon, it will be, both here and abroad. That's my rant over lol Take care, Richard

Very true words penned here. We all feel down and burdened from time to time. But there are always some unfortunate people who have it worse. At least we all have a forum here to help us through difficult times and good people to support us in PoetrySoup. A place to share.

Indeed, well said. We all have a story, we all have our paths. It is certainly important to cherish the pages we write in our lives by reading the pages of another...
