The weather in Maine was not on our side – 4 days of partly sun, 4 days of rain, mist, overcast. Not a fisherman no longer, went to see old friends and look at art galleries. Motel we stayed at didn't have hot water for two days, and only at times the other days. Plus we had the worse neighbors up above and next door.

Awesome! You give new meaning to "Teach a fish to swim", eh? Nicely done!

Not English - but close, C.L. (lol) - named after one of our Aussie national flowers. Love your limericks, would enjoy seeing more!

Thank you, Miss Wattle. (Love that name! Sound very English?) I have a longer version of this limerick. I often write several poems on the same subject. Appreciate the stop.
