A poem

A poem never stops singing/

It cries out until echoes reach the end of life/

It never stops blinking/

The eye paints pictures relating to forgotten legends/

Sinking links to historical poetic junk/

It sees beyond signs/

Free rides before time/

Braking bottled tears/

A poem knows nobody wants to know/

It comes in alphabets/

Symbols giving birth to language/

It dreams for you/

Before awakening views/

Collects all lost treasures and spit weapons/

A poem knows nobody wants to listen/

Nobody wants to go to war/

Keep away from poems everyone is told/

It knows freedom is an excuse/

A poem lives forever/

A poem sings till infinity/

Yes. A poem lives forever. But if we write that poem, a part of us will live forever too. "A poem never stops singing"-- What a line.
