Your birthday came, we celebrate,
one pretty candle's on the cake,
October seventh, cheerful date,
the sea-gulls fly above the wake.
Our ship shall travel thousand miles,
waves glitter like the distant stars;
with kindest thoughts and rainbow smiles,
this right to transfer's only ours.
How beautiful becomes the trip
when all around the dolphins dance,
the seagulls fly above the ship,
celestial clouds, the blue enhance.
Retentions kept, the times we meet,
and birthdays we transform to joy
perceptible October's sweet
of wishing poems, kind employ.
Cordate and soft's the touch of foam,
pristine the sea will send to kiss
affectionate your face and comb,
euphoric present of her bliss.
And every year the rainbow clings,
while Notus celebrates with you,
above the waves it rhymes and sings
with seven colors on the blue!
