Isn't it great that we can be friends with people who may live a world away and as close to some of them as we are to people that we see everyday. But you know what Thomas---nothing is impossible. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you, me, and a bunch of other Soupers got together one day and had a big party, just like the one you threw for us at The Street Front Cafe.

I agree with you and why wars are still going on is beyond my understanding. We have advanced in all other ways. Great poem. Love, Joyce

Yes, Poetry Soup is a wonderful place to make new friends! I never imagined that I could communicate instantly with someone internationally. And, we all speak in a universal language called poetry! I love this poem, Tom! It has such a positive message. Great work!

Thom This is an honest, creative and kind write. If not for technology, we wouldn't be able to associate with others all across the world, And I wouldn't have found such nice people like you on here.
