Hi Bindu! delving into your past (while waiting for new posts!) Here I see a girl who has a lot to offer, yet is between two minds whether to take the decisive step forward or not. Another beautiful poem! // paul

I find the idea of living within a shell interesting. We want the protection and in the process it blocks out our ability to live our lives. At the first sign of adversity we retreat into our own darkness. P.s. I love the new Avatar.

"While the shell-girl runs back to her shell...", I have done that so many times, that I have lost count! I know this shell-girl all to well, and yes, she often does dance with darkness. I felt like I was reading one of my own poems!...This was a unique poem, Bindu, and I enjoyed every line of it! Really great work. I am adding this one to my favorites! :)

Bindu....this is so beautifully portrayed...A heart afraid to love, to experience, to live. Yes...sometimes there is but heartache outside the shell. Beautiful write, my dear. I applaud you
