To St Urial
I ask that thee guide my hand upon mine parchment
That mine words would pleasure thee in my poetry
And spread wisdom throughout this world
A blessing seek I that thine grace will fall upon my poetry
So others may be joyous in reading whence my pen did fell
And that there be a quiet glory befell your name in mine words.
That I would uphold thy bidding within these words
As be shared without this beautiful world.
I would sing of the love from within mine breast
And spread the words about as leaves that fell from a giant tree.
Mine words of poetry are but a dot amongst minions of other pages that flow from others.
That thy spread thine will amongst those that are not yet sated of poetry.
And a love for thy words across lands my hands cannot stretch.
I ask of you to carry forth mine words of poetry and the words of others.
So that thy would be pleased.
I asketh of you as myself, a reader
and a poet
