Serenade of Love

My heart sings of my love for thee,
A cascade of melody barely held within mine own

Thou hast a beauty birds sing of,
flowers dream of possessing.
Of a love so bright it radiates
from without thy very soul.

Thou words thy speak are but a serenade to within
mine own heart.
Thy glow is but a mirror of brightness held to the
gloom of the world.

Of colours that light a world held by the darkness of
those that know not of love.
Thou is my beauty, thou is my song, thou is my love,
as mine is to thee.

these three words are simple but coated from within
mine own heart.

I Love You

An honest and endearing poem, that reminded me of the classic poetry of Percy Shelley. A beautifully written piece of poetry, Tom! I loved it! :)

My try at a sonnet. I love reading the classical romantic poets like Byron and Shelley. So here is my attempt at a romantic sonnet.
