    This took me back some... great pain in such few words. This reminded me of the Dona Nobis Pacem by Vaughan Williams(particularly the balm part and Gilead) . I highly recommend a listen if you haven't. Each movement is amazing. This poem, is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Always, Laura

    I was impressed the first time I read this poem, and I am still impressed re-reading it again. I find it weird that you wrote this poem about two months ago, and how relevantly the place names and imagery can be related to the events unfolding on the world stage right now. Amazing, really.
