Heavenly Skies

Open up your silken eyelids
See what you will see,
There before your very eyes
A light so Heavenly.
A smile does cross your face
You see God's dawning fire,
Sky licked by the sun's own flame
Ready to give Love its desire.

Little fluffy white clouds
Now painted on to verdant blue,
Angel's breath pushes them on
As they change there whitened hue.
They change their shape
As they float around
Through Heaven's limitless space
High above the ground.

And from the verdant blue
God does watch from his golden eye,
The life far below as it moves along
And life in the sky as it flies by.
The little clouds are out to play
And the bird of paradise it flies,
Alive with life the verdant blue
Within God's wondrous, Heavenly skies.
