Unwelcomed truths

Where to start
When will words
Fall
Fall out

Darkest before dawn
But when will dawn finally
appear
After darkness has become so
near
After closest companion were
Demons
Dogs
Dark dreams
That haunts

Tears to fond a friend
Of little girl nearing end

Every turn
Seems to take
Break
Break
Break

She ruined it all
Just before the fall

So long without a stroke
In lost moment
tightrope
Broke

Broken broken
Where to stand
On shards of glass
Reflections of within
Jeering at their won sin

Never it was a matter
Of mental To physical
To better
To soothe
To heal
Brokenness within

But sick dependence
On thrill of concealing
The truth behind
The starry ceiling
Plastered perfectly
With cracks leaking behind
No one saw
True fiend
Inside

In dreams she escapes
But turning to nightmares
It soon becomes
Sleeping a fear
So close to her heart

Rabid dogs
On slow paced heels
Biting
Attacking
Killing all "reals"

Anger mounting
Caused by faces
She once trusted
Betrayal of her being
She starts shouting
Anger so vile
Anger so cruel
Where will it lead her too?

Noose tightly slipped
Around terrified neck
Will she be forgiven
For this final step?

Awaken suddenly
Lungs still fighting to breathe
It was merely but a dream

But then it seems
Pulled into another
Horrid seamless dream

One that reigns
With far to many
Unwelcome truths

One of histories passed
Of hurting
Destroying
What once was

The endless search for
perfection
So lost
So futile
So torn within
Ideals
Set high above
What she feels

When will cracks
Break apart
When carefully placed blocks
Fall
Fall off
When will they stare into
Her cold eyes
And realise
Her light has long since died
