Circle Of The River

The river is calm,
Beauty reflected in the water there.
An Angel's face,
Framed with long, raven black hair.
A dark waterfall,
That flows down divinity.
A face of Love,
That your eyes do plainly see.

Emerald eyes,
Looking from glories face.
A face of Love,
Filled with Heaven's Love and grace.
A brilliant smile,
It does light up your glory.
Angel tears.
Are part of your Love story.

You see yourself,
But not always as others see you.
Your temple shines,
It shines as bright as the morning dew.
Then ripples,
As one foot goes into the water.
Reflection gone,
The reflection of natures daughter.

Water shining,
Shining with light so bright.
Peace awakens,
If you ever see her Heavenly sight.
Water dripping,
Your temple has sunlight sheen.
Your own glory,
You are Heaven's Angelic dream.

Aphrodite's face,
Framed by sweet smelling, long black hair.
Your heart beating,
It beats with mighty Love and care.
Your soul shining,
The light of one of Heaven's own.
Keep ever smiling,
Sweet Angel you are never alone.

Walk in the forest,
Snow White does walk again.
Birds are singing,
The Angel's tears they fall as rain.
At your beauty,
The Angel's they do surely cry.
When i see you,
My heart flies way up in the sky.

The river is calm,
Beauty reflected in the water there.
An Angel's face,
Framed with long, raven black hair.
A dark waterfall,
That flows down divinity.
A face of Love,
That your eyes do plainly see.

You shall be both taker and giver,
When you live the circle of the river.
You shall ever return to the magic water,
For you must always be near nature's daughter.

This one swept me away. Take a bow Mike. Excellently crafted romantic piece.

Hi M, Just like i said to Linda, i wrote this one for a native American friend. For once i didn't think about it i just let the words fall from the heart. Sometimes when you think about a piece like this too much you start second guessing yourself and i didn't want to do that. The idea was there and i needed nothing else. Catch you later. Your friend, MIKE.

wow! Michael, Indeed:-) How I wished to write a poem of beauty and meaning like this. The last line, gave the poem a beloved notion, of light and darkness by Her emotions. a lovely homage. LINDA

Hi Linda, Thank you once more for your comment. To be honest with you, i don't know how this poem came to be. I remember thinking of my native American friend, starting to type, and there it was. I let the heart speak, not the mind. You my friend are brilliant on a multitude of subjects and each has its meaning. You have a nice day now....Your friend...MIKE.
