From Lady Thing - The Hackerwood Tales

Some thing in the ground
Her poor body found
Woke up and wanted to be
A thing in the ground
Without hardly a sound
That could crawl away to me
Out of the mound
And no longer bound
The thing is finally free
It sniffed around
Like an old bloodhound
And found its way to me.

Thanks. It's supposed to be. Not great poetry but I'm not really a poet. I wrote a series of few what you might call limericks for some short stories and novelties of mine. Sort of brief intros for the storyline. Glad you think it's spooky.

Geez. Gotta turn off this predictive text function on my phone, somehow.
