The Pachyderm

Who knows
A thick skinned
Pachyderm
Insensitive
Stolid
From stem to stern
A spineless weasel
A gutless worm
A serious
Most frightful germ

I fear that I have fallen prey
To such a one this very day
For I looked into the mirror to see
A Pachyderm staring back at me

So,
What more
Is there
to discuss
There's Pachyderm
In all of us

I was thinking it is an elephant, and went just now to google it. I guess elephant skin looks like a worm's but where did you get weasel. heehee.

Elephants, Rhino, Hippos, etc. But, it is also a term used to describe a think skinned insensitive person. I just added a few more descriptions of my own. This poem was just written for fun.

haha I forgot what a pachyderm is but I can't imagine which animal looks like worm and weasel both. YIKES. Funny that you thought of yourself as one.
