Free Will

empty
minds
arrive
at birth,

know
not all
their
worth,

innate
dreams
born
afresh,

newly
minted
hopes
express,

thoughts
infused
by right
or wrong,

hearts
nurtured
for love
to long,

spirits
wired
to reign
over all,

till choice
inspired
free will’s
fatal fall.
