I Be Free

Twilight's welcoming arms languish
Through misty forest's shadowy light
As timeless beauty's strained wishful
Dreams bring forth dawn's romantic
Magical phantasies of joyful freedom

Till at death's behest hope still arises
In breathless ecstasy singing praises
To unknown puppeteers of surprise
Amid desire's tangled web of wailful
Comedic sonnets crying "I Be Free"

Such are the heart's fearless memories
Of innocent 's magnificent afterglow
As time's dramatic story oft wassails
Life's high-spirited cheshire cat smile
Beyond truth's double-minded liberty

Till at death's behest hope still arises
In breathless ecstasy singing praises
To unknown puppeteers of surprise
Amid desire's tangled web of wailful
Comedic sonnets crying "I Be Free"

Though aghast in judgment standing
Before tradition's dire lexicon of lies
Faith's imperfect temporal existence
A visual history's insatiable laughter
Of Eden's hopeful legacy gone amiss

Till at death's behest hope still arises
In breathless ecstasy singing praises
To unknown puppeteers of surprise
Amid desire's tangled web of wailful
Comedic sonnets crying "I Be Free"
