My mother to me is my guardian angel.
Constantly Giving me the strength to believe in myself,
When i am faced with times I feel destined to fail,
The support she shows holds no boundary’s.
She has been the constant figure in my life,
Never admitting defeat, taking all that life
Throws at her, constantly a pillar of strength
Facing the world head on in all its trials and tribulations
Whenever I am down she provides me with comfort,
a Shoulder to cry on, always there with open arms
and words of Support, So much so that whatever
seemed to be troubling me Is soon forgotten,
through her I have learnt to truly care.
She braves all weathers as a community carer, reaching out
To provide the elderly with so much love and support,
No matter what their needs are, she is always there,
Ready and willing to do all that she can.
She provides meals for myself, and my younger siblings,
Only ever asking for our love and respect in return,
Sometimes in my youth I have failed to show my appreciation,
and these are the times that I regret the most.
So mum, this ones for you, a huge thank you for all that you
Have done for us over the years, and still do today.
You truly are my guardian angel, and there really is
Nobody on earth that I respect and admire as much as you.
