Today and Tomorrow

Echoes in the hall, evening shadows creep The far off mountains bathed in softest pink Soon this night will put our day to sleep Echo in the hall, evening shadows creep For yesterdays we are prone to weep Of the wonders of today we now must think Echoes in the hall, evening shadows creep The far off mountains bathed in softest pink

I told another poet that I am enjoying being introduced to unfamiliar styles while I review other poet's pieces, and this is another one that I enjoyed. I had no idea what a "triolet" is, but it's cool. " Line 5 is awesome; it totally resonated with me. Another beautiful piece, Barbara!
