Last Bite

Hot peppers burn me at both ends;
   And also deep within;
So ah, my foes, and oh, my friends -
   Beware the coming din!

    Jon You are a silly guy. Just don't eat anything with hot peppers when out with friends. Unless you want the whole place to yourself. LOL Nice job

    Another funny one. I will go see one more of yours, Jon. I see Ilene is telling you she will give you an autographed copy of her book. Sure wish she would get one published.

    Thank you Eileen. I don't think I can write another poem like "Ode to chocolate" I lean more to poems about animals. I have a great admiration for the poems of Ogden Nash and try to follow the spirit of his wit.
