Deep Voodoo - original version

Voodoo politics Ross Perot where did you go? you said it all trickle down economy pissing away the poor pissing off the middle class as less and less our paychecks pay the bills ironic how when I was still in diapers the rich got taxed a whole lot more and yet Prosperity - along with rock and roll - was King Now it’s all about protecting those whose money no one sees as it sits in nice safe havens Make a war - no money to sustain it Let the wealth come down TRICK-TRICK TRICK ling down to you and me T R I C K l i n g . (I just noticed the contest could be only 25 lines, so the short version is below this. Crap. how does someone trickle a poem in only 25 lines?!!)

I prefer this version myself petal, it proves to me that poets write better with no restrictions. I used that word crap myself a few days ago when trying to write one where the setter had put a 16 line restriction on lol. happy to see you getting some cumuppence haha. Take care, Richard.

I guess the economic voodoo trickles all the way from a continent to another making it a whole world of tricks..Its a curse we can t get rid of..I read both versions but I love this very much..Trick or treat?: )

Hi Andrea! I read both versions, and hands down, I prefer this one so much better. This flowed so much better, or should i say trickled, allowing you to absorb the wordings better because your other version, the lines in each seemed to terse/abrupt,. I am loving the "TRICKling" part. very clever you highlighting the "trick" part and the formatting adds so much more to it! hugs to you!

VooDoo economics scares the hell out the poor. They've gotten so they can't afford to just go to the store. Regression is what we all need to rearrange the scale. Life is getting too expensive, even when it's on sale. Peace. :)

Beautiful write, and so very true. fifty percent of the world starves while these greedy rich, ugly people become richer and richer, Thanks for sharing this with us...Peter

it's hard not to hate them!! Actually just by living as I do in a typical low middle class home, I am still better off than 90 percent of the rest of the world. what a scary thought, since even in my world, it's getting harder and harder to make ends meet. I think it's only 1 percent of that nasty wealthy class that controls all of us!!

I like this one. To hell with limitations. They make a poem fall short. Love, daver

I'm not a big politics guy. But, Perot knew his stuff. He was a numbers guy and that's what this country has a real issue with. I enjoyed this read! =)
