Dental Procedure

Once upon a time recently
To dentist went confidently
He gave huge novacaine
Suppose to ease my pain
To my heart went incidently

The dentist chiseled tooth away
I didn't want to play rest of day
The morning after~Oh! well
I'll just say, upon pain did dwell
But money to him still will pay

One week since the procedure
and I am still having some pain..
My heart still hasn't settled completely
either..

This a unique theme for the contest and yet so true. I had a chuckle with this one. Nicely done. Hugs and love, Gail

Humorous, Sara, hate those trips to the chair. My grandson recently had his first pain-killer in the dentist's office. He was very brave and Nana did well too...a few tears. His older, experienced sister was the perfect nurse, considering how they bicker at other times. Sorry for your residual pain.
