Glimpses of Epiphany

The city lights excite the sky. Broadway
was filled with people of many different
sizes and nationalities. Dots of lights arch
through the darkness like a forest of
candles on fire. There it was my epiphany...
a beautiful park in the midst of all the city
fury.
I walked threw the gate not usually prone
toward parks and lounged peacefully on the
fresh green lawn. The light reflected the yellow
fading maple leaves as I heard the soft,
still flow of a river. It was beautiful, the smell
of flowers startled my senses.. I was at peace.
