Once upon a benighted moon,
fireflies dance to her glowin' tune.
Restin' high in the bough of the trees,
Her jasmine scent is on the breeze.
Crickets chirp to cheer her on,
Till the night chases dawn.
Yawnin' she dims her glowin' light
Gatherin' stars in the melodious night.
Foldin' her soapbox midnight glow
She taps a ditty to the fiddlin' bow.
Callin' cows to come on home,
She lulls the cat a sleep time tome.
Good-morning egg-over-easy sun,
Cockcrow chants work time's begun.
Milk the cows and feed 'em hay,
Keepin' step through out the day.
Nighttime comes, moonshines high,
Spreadin' her stars to the canvased sky
Hush now the still night begins to sing,
The cat and his fiddle rosin up a string.
A cow is ready for the grand leap,
With care not to wake the farmers sleep.
Blessin' the event with an amber dream,
The moon glows contented smilin' serene.
