Life

Life is what you make of it;
different in everyone's eyes,
life is your passion.
Life is recognizing the simple things,
like a woman's eyes.
And the fire it brings to your life;
catty-corners strife,
and sets you free.

Life is a simple day complicated,
different is the average night,
and strange is not your inner light;
darkness never comes for when eyes closed,
your vision is bright.
Life is a sea of nothing full of volume and driving
ambition.
Life is your vision sought
and conquered.
Life is every thought.

Life is waiting for rhyme
to fabricate into decent lines
in due time.
Life is bringing a blank canvas
to life,
whittling sculpture with
a dull knife.
Life is your presence in a
crowded room,
and the thoughts you bring to others.
Life is your butterfly effect.
Life is Socrates, Shakespeare, Rumi
and VanGogh;
Monet, Whitman, Plato and Kennedy.

Life is your inspiration.
The way you view the world in its most
lovely sense.
Life is not the legacy you leave,
selfishly,
but the thoughts you helped concieve.
Life is your desires,
the people you inspire,
and the salty sweat you perspire.
Life is your death,
and what it registers on the
Richter Scale.
Life is Heaven or
Life is Hell;
Life is to impel.
