One Driver

There can be only one driver on the road
To steer you in the right direction I’m told

The destination you choose is in your sight
The right fork will make everything right

Don’t cross the path and go astray
Going in circles and losing your way

Crossroads will appear and make you think
Whether it’s drugs or whether it’s drink

Some roads are dangerous too fast a pace
You can’t see your hand in front of your face

Try to stay strong and trust in your heart
You will find yourself a calm place to start

Some roads shine with diamonds and gold
Beware of this road it is plastic and cold

The right road will never leave you alone
Cool brooks and birds sing where you belong

There can be only one driver on the road
The hand offered here will lighten your load

Contest: There can only be one
