To My Friend

I consider you my friend.
Through good and bad,
You have been there.
Through hurt and sorrow, joy and jubilation,
You have stood by my side.
I know in my heart
You shall always be there.
You do not hesitate to lend a helping hand
Or an attentive ear.
In your presence I grow.
Through our experiences
I have gathered knowledge
And gained wisdom.
To you I salute,
My friend,
For now and always.

It's not particularly bad, but not my cup of tea.
