seventeen hours a day i toil and moil
seventy times have missed my mail
my tireless efforts are not to hail
i feel like a prisoner sentenced to hell

my life is caught up in a maze
whose outside am unable to gaze
am not entitled to any opinion
and i belong to a re-known workers union

my meager salary they monthly slash
and my outcry they under handily hush
inquire for protective gear and you've no choice
money spinners guarantee us Hob son's choice

"take it or leave it"a term they like
a character humanoid or human-like
yet the congress room doesn't give a damn
that some food items make me a he-man
so easily they tell me "up man"

this gives me a public spirit
to withstand tear gas in fight for my right
dear leaders you've become somnambulists
no need to incriminate our news analysts
this is just but my soliloquy
please reflect on it if you've IQ
