This is very beautiful as always. In my life time I have cried many tears, I think that us women can cry a river, but we can also hold back our tears. Thanks for sharing... I am now feeling a lot better, but I still can't drive. Many blessings to you...... Lucilla

There's no question that we can't cope" did you mean can? Can't makes the poem feel devoide of hope. I like the shape of the poem it looks like a star. For me that small change would make your excellent poem exceptional.

I feel myself there within your write, so you have successfully written a write that brings the reader in and places them into the poem with their own experiences! You have amazed me by the splendor of this wonderful poem this evening! What a powerful piece my friend, such a lovely poem, Great Work!!

Behind the tears are many years of happiness we knew - When all it took to make things right was a sincere "I love you." ..... Yes, I agree with Eileen.... This is a powerful write.... Jake

Powerful write, Gail. There is a spiritual song that I like entitled, "Tears are a language God understands." Yes...."We are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
