The Reaping Could Have Been Less Grim

Lying there in sweet repose
Inside your hands I place a rose,

I wonder at the Hand of Time
And at the worlds behind your eyes,

The ice that sits beneath your skin,
This shell we used to keep you in,

And all the marching ages hence
Will be lost in rememberance.
