Delight in Wandering

Amid the concrete towers of modern life
some ancient preference in us calls
for sunshine dappled bowers.
There is respite in leafiness,
in tangled vines, obstreperous creepers,
in row, upon nonchalant row,
of fragrant roses.

A butterfly invites our eye
to ramble from monotonies of
daily drudge.
We hearken back to some
lost paradise - a game, intent
on restoration of our addled brains
We find again,
delight in wandering

Dear Suzanne,Xegrakio Poetess, and Harry's Spirit Nurse. Hi It was Graduation time From early June to the 20th and Iwent on Vacation with the Family.Sorry I've not wrote sooner. The Chef I mean Harry is Spiritually dead. He is writting a story (Poem?) about an experiance he had during his operation, about going to Heaven and being with Lenore I know He always writes about being one with Lenore again I think he really did do it as his description is so vivid. Good one, Suz. I can totally relate to the addled brains bit! My brain is on vacation at the moment, refusing to make sense out of anything. This was a breath of fresh air.
