Portrait Of A Dreamer

She waits

stepping lightly
as breath beckons caress of kiss
in frail moments, searching

finding feathers floating
as softer seasons flower
Scent waltzes upon air, to mingle

in poetic symmetry, swaying

painting emotion in silent hue
as hidden stars mimic
the art of her blushing.

Once safe in love's eager embrace,
tickling the face of destiny
in teasing fashion of fancy,

reminiscent of rainy twilights
when spirits yearned for solace
where gardens stood weeping
for blossoms to bear.

Many sunsets passed
in secret serenade
while enchanted eyes dreamt
of tender moments

now shared in serenity's song
as clouds cascade
daring to catch a glimpse

of love's perfect portrait

as she sighs~

Filled with sweetness and beauty it has found the cracks in my walls, and seeped its way into my fragile heart, gentle like a feather on a simple summer breeze, with the vunerability of a young innocent girl, just blooming, memories. A nice write, good job. Love, Jese
