Ding Ding, I’m inside the local pawn shop I have a certain thing in mind to get This place is supposed to have things on top What I want I hope they have, I’ll be set I have a certain thing in mind to get It’s a grandiose feeling which I seek What I want I hope they have, I’ll be set Maybe it’s under this ring, I’ll just peek It’s a grandiose feeling which I seek Does the owner have emotions for sale Maybe it’s under this ring, I’ll just peek Love is what I want, put it in a pail Does the owner have emotions for sale This place is supposed to have things on top Love is what I want, put it in a pail Ding Ding, I’m inside the local pawn shop

    I was very curious to see how a pawn shop theme can be transformed into a pantoum. And this composition is very impressive. It was a delightful read. Your work is marvelous.

    This is the sweetest one I've read for the contest thus far, I love the endearing attachment you have to the word grandiose, you seem to use it much in your poetry, I will try and write a poem using this word too, I'll let you know how it turns out, maybe I will used it as a title, what do you think, would it be a tad too grandiose, love to you dear one xxx
