This poem was written and dedicated to Kay,someone whom I was madly in love with.I guess she wanted more...lol.But at least I got a poem out of it right.
So fond am I to claim your hand
So fond am I to gaze this span
To look beyond that I may see
Your carnal eyes looking at me.
It is the way you'd strike a pose
And the dimple smile on your nose.
That drew me closer to your grace
A perfect form,your heavenly face.
No charm is fit to claim your looks
No gleaming gem,no sacred brooks.
So sweet is life and breath and day
So pure your love my darling Kay.
I have not wealth or wisdom's charm
The husky form or the fattened arm.
I'm not the knight the dreamer seek
To paint the rapture on your cheek.
But I'd give my best in love's pursuit
Till death alarms and breath is mute
Through time,space and life's decay
I'd love you forever,my darling Kay.
