Sea Glass

Old glass bottles tossed in the sea
Enhanced by years beneath the deep blue
Small chunks or shards paper thin
Root beer brown, forest green
Aquamarine and frosted white ice
Bits and pieces of colored broken glass
Worn by waves, recycled by the sea
Metamorphosis trash to gems

Problem with searching for sea glass
You're hunched over, never looking up
You never real see the coastal view
Afraid you'll miss that one special find

    nicely done, I'm wondering if you live in calif ? I sometimes watch a show called Calif. Gold with Huell Howser, he did a segment on "sea glass" anyways, very nice write ;}

    No I don't live in Calif. I spend 3 moths each year in Florida. Sea glass is hard to find on the Gulf. So when I do find one it's extra special. I keep the glass in a clear vase on my windowsill. Thanks for visiting and leaving a delightful comment . Warm Smiles, Connie
