Limerick : Once the UN wore a carnation

Once the UN wore a carnation
Now in the shade looks like damnation
Halls echo inane talk
House for rent at New York
Is UN ever on vacation ?

Morning! Thanks. I think I see what you mean: who's to clean the rotten apples up. The trouble is, if one attempts to stem the tide that has been building up while we were all asleep, the effort will be self-defeating. Best to let Nature take its course. Sooner or later the rotten apples in US all will get digested. I don't know about 5000 yrs ago though: those guys were wiser than US. Wignesan
