Melancholy Memory

                    time flies like peregrine falcons
                      the pains my heart buried
                  resonated memories of his death
                       and tears flowed.

                    in reminiscence of times we
                     shared as brothers, I write
                    my ink feels soulless while
                      I barely pen.

                    my breathes have become pains
                       my words are scanty
                    tears are my unspoken words
                        nobody understands.

                    your death invaded my fortress,
                      imprisoned my inner sanctum
                      to melancholy, and took away
                        our brotherliness.

                    your shadows silhouetted against
                      the moon shields my night
                      your images in frames are
                        memories left.
