Longing

Lips so soft and fragile
Pale pink as they part
Like rosebuds they pause
Stop pounding, my heart

Beautiful and tender
In the pale moonlight
Reaching and longing
What a magnificent sight

Full of color, full of wonder
Like a young girl’s blush
Inviting and marvelous
Lures you to touch

Sensations are pulsing
And pulling me in
I want to move forward
So love can begin

This is why the 1st step is so vital. Only then can one go up. Nicely written!
